Oz Clarke celebrates English Wine Week online
On the 25th June English Wine expert Oz Clarke hosted a special online tasting to celebrate English Wine Week 2025.
During the tasting Oz tasted six examples of exciting English wines; white and rosé of course, but red wine too, made from classic grapes such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and less familiar varieties such as Bachus, Ortega and Divico.
Joining him to explain how the wines were made, and to discuss the effect of climate change on English vineyards, were the winemakers, together with WineAlive followers who’d signed up to take part in this online tasting.
